AMD's Ryzen X3D processors are considered to be among the best gaming processors on the market, with performance close to or far superior to flagship CPUs in most online games, but neither generation of X3D processors supports official overclocking.
Wccftech reports that the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D CPU offers full overclocking support, which is also the first time that AMD Ryzen X3D chips have supported official overclocking.
AMD initially took a very conservative approach with the Ryzen 5000X3D processor, with strict temperature and voltage restrictions, and no official tuning options.
Later, AMD introduced the Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 Series X3D processors with 2nd Gen 3D V-Cache technology, providing enthusiasts with more tuning options, including Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) and Curve Optimizer (CO) features, as well as EXPO memory overclocking, which was highly sought after by gamers.
The next generation of Zen 5-based Ryzen 9000X3D processors will have more exciting geek features and full support for overclocking settings, and gamers on the AM5 platform will be able to enjoy full overclocking support on the new generation of X3D processors.

According to Wccftech, AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs are cooler and consume less power, DDR5 overclocking performance is greatly enhanced, and gamers will still be able to use their previous DDR5-6000 memory, albeit with a maximum memory frequency of 6400 MT/s while maintaining a 1:1 FCLK to MCLK ratio.
