Carbonized wood carving "Sunbird"

The "bird" 7,000 years ago

On the day of the opening of the museum, the reporter saw the national first-class cultural relics and the "sunbird" that Shenyang people are familiar with, which is the earliest carbonized wood carving artwork in China, which has rarely been publicly exhibited before.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Shenyang Museum, the "Sunbird" artwork is 38.5 cm long, 4.5 cm wide and 1 cm thick, and in terms of carving techniques, the knife technique is skillful, the lines are smooth, and the form is peculiar, which fully demonstrates the superb carving technology and aesthetic taste of the original ancestors of Xinle, and has become the treasure of the Shenyang Xinle Ruins Museum.

Carbonized wood carving artworks are from the Neolithic period, dating back 7200 years. This wood-carved artwork was charred into the ground due to a fire at the site that year, and has been preserved without disturbance for more than 7,000 years. Due to the protection of cultural relics, it is rarely exhibited, and it is very difficult to see its true appearance.

Liao Dynasty white glazed black color plum bottle

The pattern on the White Glazed Black Colored Plum Vase of the Liao Dynasty on display this exhibition is the first example of the autumn bowl on the utensils, which can be called the only product in the sea. The decorative style of porcelain with black color under the glaze is a style that was previously considered by the academic community to be a style that only appeared in the JinYuan period. This plum vase advances the appearance of underglaze black color porcelain to the Liao Dynasty, rewriting the history of Chinese ceramics about underglaze color porcelain.

The national treasure-level cultural relics on display this time are the golden step shakes worn by the nobles of The Three Yans, and the golden light shines and sways. In the exhibition site, it seems to travel through time and space, returning to the labor scene of the ancients mining gold, and seeing the amazing metalworking technology of the ancient ancestors.

With the successive rise of the Liao, Jin, Yuan and other northern ethnic regimes, the change of dynasties has also brought about the integration and development of national culture, thus creating a special historical and cultural feature of Shenyang.
