Life discipline involves all aspects of party members' personal morality, family virtues, and social morality. Chapter 11 of the Regulations stipulates that the disciplinary violations mainly include the following categories: extravagant pleasures and pursuit of low-grade pleasures; engaging in sexual inappropriate sexual relations; mismanagement of spouses, children and their spouses; Violation of public order and good customs, etc. The newly revised "Regulations" add provisions on the punishment of extravagance and waste in life that cause negative impacts, and keep pace with the times to regulate and restrain the online words and deeds of Party members.
It is worth noting the catch-all clause of life discipline. If there are no provisions in other provisions, but the conduct seriously violates social morality or family virtues and should be pursued for Party discipline responsibility, the life discipline catch-all provisions are to be applied to pursue Party discipline responsibility.
