On the morning of June 24, the 2023 National Science and Technology Award was announced in Beijing, and a total of 49 major scientific and technological achievements led or completed by Shanghai were awarded. Among them, Xuhui won 14 awards, accounting for 28.6% of the total number of awards in Shanghai. Among the 14 award-winning projects in Xuhui, 8 were led and completed, accounting for more than half of the total number of awards.
Among them, the project of "Key Technology and Application of RF System Design Automation", which won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, was led by Academician Mao Junfa, a professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and developed the first set and series of RF system design automation software in the mainland, breaking the foreign monopoly and realizing the basic independent controllability. The results have been used in more than 400 enterprises, supporting the independent research and development of domestic advanced semiconductor technology, 5G base stations and terminal products, and embarking on an innovative breakthrough road of RF system design automation technology.
